I tried to kill him with the k-volt, but when I reload he scapes.

I can't remember if I killed that one or not, but melee after shooting would probably prevent escape; although tbh if it's just one alien I'd let it slide. You have plenty more to kill later on.

Of couse. But it's like an easter-egg. It's worth 5000 NC, that in the beggining is like winning the lottery. I mean, I shoot him, but he runs fast thought the level ending point.

Did you see him? I saw them (two of them) again in "Seat of Power". I think they are Ceph spies.

They're called Guardians according to the visor. I'm pretty sure it's impossible to kill them during their appearances until the end of the game. I've tried stunning the one in the crypt with the K-Volt and power punching it but no dice.

lol I beat those guys easy.

It's a simple way really.

Those guys are too hard to kill with guns, even with x-mike, C4 or JAW's.


All you have to do is kick the car into em and they die in oneshot.


I don't think you can kill the ones that make an appearnce till the final game.

I actually did, lots, seriously, at least 3-4 at the end of the game.

I initially thought there was only one so I tried to sneak around him, but I got spotted and he was pretty close so I panicked and shot and melee-ed him to death. Then a bunch of other Guardians came at me and I did the same. I actually ran out of ammo, so it was a melee battle with most of the really. I'm surprised I survived.

I ended up having 30k nano catalysts which was useless anyway because the game ended. =\

I assassinated all three of them fairly easily in post-human warrior mode. I was hoping for a more challenging end

I killed the first guardian with following - You stealth then you run up and melee him about 4 hits should do the job. Its very quick and you need to run a strafe sideways to block him from running, just keep hitting him and he'll go down then you can even kick him I've been told but its really purely melee for no 1. I originally used the gun and its just too slow. You have to be on top of the guy very quickly. Dont waste time thinking about it. Just get the advantage. You have more time for the others and can choose your weapon. I just armoured up almost on top of them to bashed them to death - they dont seem to like being hit and their reaction was less damage to me thankfully. I really thought it was going to be heaps harder.

I have completed the game multiple times. The reason I asked about a video is because I wanted proof that he's actually worth 5000 before I bother to go find him.

hes worth 5000 because hes the same type of alien.

i dont think u can kill them, they have a very short appearance and im pretty sure those that your see ARE the ones at the end.



ps i completed SS difficulty yesterday, all 4 guardians jumped at me, i cloaked ran away and killed all 4 with just 2 rocket.

and i also killed the junction pinger with a mere 4 C4 xD

Well, I did something like this to kill them at the end of game:
Stealth-move behind them, Place C4, JAW to kill one in the middle, cloak, wait till everyone come to check the zone, uncloak, detonate C4, cloak, run away, get something heavy, like a Marshal, uncloak to lure them, cloak, move away, wait till they come in, shoot in the back to finish the game. Easy, and much more fun than melee.
Other way is - go cloaked into container, (right from entry point), get ammo from there, snipe one of these guys, hide behind the door, wait a moment, armor on and blind-shoot with K-volt till you find one - shoot till end of ammo, hide behind the doors, eventually all of aliens will stop at doors and you'll be able to Volt-them-all. very easily.

And yea, the C4 is best for pingers, otherwise they turn to be annoying.

In the end of it, when you hit the churchs tunnels, theres a guardian there. But even if you shoot him with the k-volt, he runs to the stage ending point and you can't kill him.

cmon they're easy. i killed one with 4 Gauss shots, and disposed of the rest with Mikes and Melee.

really they're easy to kill with regular weapons. especially with cloak tracker.

I killed the one who was stalking me when I was walking thrue the fire stuff with the civilians and I had to go into a building, go up some stairs, but I needed to go to the 3rd floor, but I stopt at second floor and with the visor I could see him so Just spamd headshot on him with my sniper (he didnt move cause I wasnt close enuff for him to sync-run away, so after like 7 headshots he died and I got my 5000 NC buuuuuuut my NC is bugd so it stays at 0.

i killed him in super solider and its easy with the k-bolt and meele

He survives a grenade + rocketlauncher?

I thought he was a scripted invincible.
