HI - I've killed Caesar, got the Khans, the BoS and the NCR on my side - and now Yes Man wants me to power up some remote Bots and sabotage the Dam.
Is there no way I can trigger the main quest (battle for the dam, etc.) without following Yes Man's quest?

I just don't feel like killing and blowing up NCR people...!

Well Yes Man is just one of the four branches that start the main quest. After you kill Benny you can 1)Go see Yes Man and continue his questline. 2) Go talk to Ceasar and complete his quests 3)Go see the NCR ambasator and do his quests. 4)Go see House and do his quests. If you follow Abasators quests NCR wins, Ceasar quests will lead to Legion winning, ect.


You should still be able to side with the NCR if you haven't gotten too far in Yes Man's quest. To check just go to the NCR embassy on the strip and talk to Crocker.

The ultimate deciding quest is when you deal with President Kimbal[or have the option to deal with him] If you do that with Yes Man your stuck with Yes Man.
[also its power up the bots OR sabotage the dam, you either drive them out with an army or bake the dam useless to them.]

Now when you side with Yes Man you can avoid any and all NCR casualties, well except for the ones the legion inflict. Just don't shoot any of them and when you come to the Troopers in the salvaged power armor guarding a doorway in the dam. Simply bluff your way passed them. After you've dealt with the legion legate, you just need to power up your speech to 100 and head for the exit and you can convince the NCR to leave.
