I have turned to the dark side. #auto armor confession

Post » Tue Feb 26, 2013 8:58 am

I have been using auto armor on almost every kit it makes the game more fun as I don't have to worry about being one shot by campers. I have been using my m12 nova with laser and extended mags running around with mobility punching fools and hip firing/using the extra mobility when aiming down the sights to dodge bullets and take out slower opponents.(typhoon chumps still get me.) it is crazy effective am I taking advantage of an overpowered module or am I simply using the best tools that fit my play style?

Side note my primary for this style is either the bow for open maps(hydro) and the l-tag for cluttered maps Chinatown to thin enemy numbers before I commence with the beat downs.
I switch between armor transfer and low profile based on my opponents and my teammates skill levels.

I stopped using it in some load outs to experiment. I honestly don't notice much difference once I started managing my armor more efficiently.

On a side note. Maneuverability also seems to be overrated when it comes to ledging.

I would take the module even if it ONLY had no falling damage.

When you play the way I do unless you have really good teammates you will find yourself getting flanked a lot and auto armor really helps with that dude who was in cloak in a corner waiting for someone to run by.

I think you mean half a life if you don't use it? or you gain another half if you do use it?

Really ?I think it helps with climbing up to a position where an enemy is waiting for me. before I got to that tier I was getting smoked by people with high ground even if I took down their shields before climbing. now I think I surprise them with how fast I'm up and shooting them.
