do you not keep up with the news? Both consoles have agreed to allow modding for Fallout 4, just waiting on Bathesda

that was basically just marketing

there might be a few mods, that were 'big' on PC, later on for consoles, but that will be about it

I think it's naive to think that mods on consoles will be a big thing, as every one of them will have to go through Sony/Microsoft first

when tool kit comes out, when they put the modding ability in, wait for the GECK, as I am waiting for it too... mod community isn't even modding with the tool yet, but they already pumped out so much stuff already, many are holding off till the tool drop though...

Do you know how less wortk it is to make those Options? There are already Mods out and it wasnt so much work to make this? 2 little Modificatiosn are needed for this:

- Place in red + adding more Objects to the Menu

So why da hell must this be a Job for the Modders? Those Things should be avaible in the Vanilla Version. Those 2 Options make the Settlement System much better, keeping the Players even more playing. Even with only placing in red Mod People could make many good Settlements because there are no Limits with the Creativity. The current System has many restricted Areas, you just cant combine some Objects like you want. With this Mod you can easily Patch every little Hole in the Sanctuary Houses or whatever. Thats why a half Job.

I just hear always "Modder can do this", but the Developers should be the first ones who should improve their Mechanics. Its like buying a new Car which does only 80% to 85% ready. Yes it can drive, but we bought Software and not only a Hammer. So i should expect soemthign more. So far i know not one single Feature in this Game with no Problems. Feels really like "Modders will do it" but when we do the Job of bethesda then we should get Money from them because we are doing their Job. Improving and Patching the current Software should not be the Part of the Modders in the first Case.

ya they will go though Sony and Microsoft so you won't have any above M rated mods or any trademarked characters or items.

I agree. But it does show what scope and potential there is for modding, and this is even before the GECK has been released!

she's good. really, really good. best I've seen.

I personally prefer settlements that are actually built for 20+ settlers, but as I commented on one of her videos, her work is inspired.

This is why I love the pc, make your own game thanks to the great start bethesda made. I'm inspired, gotta make a floating city now. Have to see if there's a way to get propellars underneath.

No winner. I know PC folks can use mods and exploit the game to create awesome settlements like this (and yeah, it's awesome), but I'm not counting it in my own personal list as a candidate for "Best Settlement".

If they can achieve something similar without mods, then we'll talk. Otherwise, it's just another PC showcase and this won't be the last of them.

I'm sure someone's working on Whiterun in the Commonwealth, if it hasn't already been done.

Impressive. Now do it underwater, so we may truly have a utopia ruled not by god or kings, but only man.

This is certainly going to cause problems with consoles and some PCs.

Can you imagine the devastation caused if this was how pre-war civilization was? Wonder if an EMP would affect whatever mechanism is used to keep Columbia floating.

Ehh...this is cool and it is definitely very well done. They put some serious work into this. But it doesn't look like a Fallout settlement to me.

Well seeing that most advlt's do PC gaming vs going out to buy a console which does less for them. And that Fallout by it's self started out as a computer game not a console game. It is then good logic that PC gamers are going to do some really neat things.(With fallout)

My advise. Sell your console and build a pc. Even if it is a potato pc to start with and just start adding on. If you are a "But I love the feel of my controller" Dont worry you can keep it if you like. And have a even larger selection of peripherals; I will not play almost anything without my razer nostromo. Then there are games I will not play without a controller.

Anyways, I hope this allows people to have a more open mind on PC gaming. Consoles have a place. But it is very limited. And is also getting threatened now thanks to devices which will stream with no lag from a pc to a tv.

:) Nice Mod video btw. It was well done. The music, or that song always brings a tear to my eye though.
