I get 4 weeks paid vacation each year so I'm taking the week of fallout 4 off for sure! Still have the other 3 for extra money come Christmas!

Funny story. The military gives dads 2 weeks of maternity leave after their child is born (they can take it up to a year after they are born)

My buddy saved his maternity leave for the release of Diablo III. lol Thats dedication

I dont want to rush anything. I want to be able to sit down when im ready and play and not feel like i have too because this is my only chance. I dont want to repeat what I did in skyrim where I went through half the quest line and have no actual clue who i was dealing with.

And thats when I wasted hours of my life reading lore, just as i have done with fallout

I took 8 days off starting the 10th. With weekends that comes to 12 days of game time. I just hope my Amazon pre-order actually arrives on the 10th as advertised.

I booked off the 10th. The 11th is Veterans Day so I already have that off. That gives me two solid days. And I was supposed to be assisting in a class that day too. Good thing I had already requested the time off before they scheduled the class. Otherwise, I wouldnt have been able to take it.

Got the 10th 11th and 12th off. Would have taken the 13th as well but I was already pushing it during the busy season

I wish I could have that at my job. Its not part of our benefits package for me, but however it is for women. I would love to get 2 weeks paid maternity (technically isn't it paternity) leave, that would be great.

No I didn't and now I'm disappointed that I'm scheduled 1-10 that day. However, I requested off for a lot of other things this month and didn't want to overdo it, including asking off for my birthday on Nov. 5th, asking off to go see Roger Waters The Wall in theaters for the one night it was playing, and asking off Nov. 17th for the Hobbit 3 extended cut so I can spend all day watching it and the special features. Plus they actually gave me Halloween off this year which NEVER happens.

Another self employed person here. I don't expect to be working on release day. I mean, I COULD plan to work, but in doing so I'd just be setting myself up for failure!

Yes. I have release day and the day after requested off. I plan to play as much of the game as I can in those two days and come back to it again on the weekend.

My supervisor approved my time off request for Wednesday the 11th & Thursday the 12th, so I'm good to go. Getting through work on Tuesday's gonna be agony, but it'll be worth it.

:D I have the same days off also. Tuesday work is going to be a killer, looking at the clock every 5 minutes ha-ha. I have preordered the vault dwellers survival guide so might have to have a wee peek at through that whilst working ;)

Lol yes, it is true the military does tend to get more paid leave than civillians, however male maternity leave and such are put in place for reasons because alot of times you are posted where your spouse is not. (ex: South Korea, Greenland, a ship somewhere in the ocean lol etc...etc..) So basically its a rule that the military HAS to let you see your wife & newborn child within a year. :foodndrink:
