Have you ever felt more anticipation for a game than you do

I felt as much anticipation for Oblivion. Somehow the Elderscrolls just always has me more excited than any other game.

Your options need to be tweaked. They answer the opposite of the question in the title.

This

I didn't even answer the question because I don't have any idea what you're asking anymore. But Skyrim is my most anticipated game of all time.

I feel the same way about Skyrim as I do most of my favorite game franchises "About damn time they make another....this'll be shweet!"

Then. "Yeah, Skyrim. Woopty doo."

All my anticipation is now directed at Fallout 4, even though it hasn't even been announced.

This game will be godly, but I really over hyped MW2 out the ass. Now I don't speak the name Call of Duty.

But it is safe to say that this will be the best game ever.

I actually feel no anticipation. Though to be fair, the last time I felt like that for a game, was about 4 years ago.

I'm really looking forward to playing Skyrim and will likely waste lose devote hundreds of hours of my time playing it. What I'm looking forward to even more than that is Fallout 4, but after Fallout 3 then New Vegas back to back, I think most of us Fallout fans could use a break from it for a while...and TES will be a fantastic break from the dreary post nuclear world that is Fallout.

The only game that I have been as excited about as Skyrim(going on the forums, constantly posting, waiting for news, etc.) was Dragon Age 2 :(.(that was the day my blind faith in "good" developers was died)

I'm very excited about the release of this game, I've not really bothered with my console much this year with regards to games since none have really grabbed my interest. So i'm really looking forward for this game to spend some time on the computer again after those long days at work etc.

The last game I was this excited for was probably Mass Effect 2. With that said... Skyrim exceeds that excitement.

I was probably more excited for Oblivion. The fact that I'm not quite as excited for Skyrim is probably mostly due to me building up a tolerance for hype.

I was more excited about Borderlands... but that was mainly because we had the builds before the game came out so there was A LOT of pre-release build comparison.

If the starting stats based on race and confirmed racial perks with descriptions are leaked before release... Skyrim will probably be #1...

Only ever been this excited for Oblivion, and the Dragon Age 2. Hopefully this won't take the same turn as DA2.

No, but Oblivion blew me away. I guess I must be lucky because I'm not unrealistically hoping for an experience closer to Morrowind.

I would say Oblivion was on a similar level, I remember the disappointment was acute when the game was delayed. Initially, and for many weeks after release, I thought it was amazing, but as I got stronger in the game, the well discussed faults came out around levelled loot, lack of unique items early on, levelling system for enemies, etc, and I actually moved to the mind that Morrowind was a far better game taking in to account the technical capabilities at the time of hardware/PCs.

I was also actually very excited for Perfect Dark, the game that was touted as the sequel to Goldeneye on the N64 (easily in my top 5 games of all time), again I was really disapponted in this.

This is the most anticipation I've ever had for a game, easily. TES has always been my favourite series, and this time around it really feels like Bethesda has a firm handle on what they're doing. I was excited for Oblivion, but nowhere near this level. Skyrim is going to be unreal.
