Recently some pics popped up on the Nexus MW image share. I have never seen MW look so good.

These are my thoughts exactly. If someone can confirm how this was accomplished I will reinstall Morrowind today. It looks like a brand new game...

I don't care about how good Morrowind looks; it's not what makes the game to me.

ktbu, Morrowind Graphics Extender is a good place to start if you just want a bit of a boost that's easy to use, you might also check out the Orniocopter overhaul. It's much more complicated than MGE but it is definitely an overhaul. If you google morrowind graphics overhaul Orniocopter's should be the first hit. It's probably more something like Ornio's that made the pictures you posted. I couldn't say 100% though, they may be a mix of many mods.

When I first installed the Overhaul I didn't like it - the massive view distance made everything feel much smaller and closer together, and took away the sort of 'claustrophobic' feeling (I can't quite explain that!). I've well and truly got used to it now.

I do like it looking a bit more realistic - I'm not a fan of that grass in the second picture, however.

The people there can also help you recreate any screenshots you see.

It's possible there is ENB there, but it's likely just settings and shaders used in MGE/XE, which allows Morrowind to have Depth of Field. Which is what is happening http://static-7.nexusmods.com/15/images/100/1571126-1425757394.jpg.

MGE is included within the MSGOverhaul.
