Have you ever wanted a game as badly as TES V?

I look forward to Fallout 4 more, but TESV is a close second because it's will almost definitely come out before Fallout 3 will.

No, I can't say that I have. But Bioshock 2 is a runner-up.

One thing Oblivion taught me was not to get overexcited/hyped for any game, and take every interview (especially early ones) with a grain of salt.

And even if Bioshock 2 isn't the best thing since sliced bread, at least I'm going to have some pretty kickass action figures.

That's what I want TES to do; have NECA make a series of 7 inch action figures! I came to the horrifying realization that the amount of money I'm spending on the action figures could have bought me the Bioshock 2 game.

On the bright side, the price of the figures will just go up, while the game price will decrease over the years... so, I don't feel too bad about setting my priorities on the figures.

I'm in no hurry for TESV to come out, given my Ironman-mode and other rules on Oblivion I'd say I have about 500 hours left before I even get to the final boss :)

This. Out of all the games I have ever been hyped for, the most was probably Kotor 2. You people have no idea how much I played Kotor 1. Seriously. I knew everything about that game by heart, everything. I loved that game

TESV is coming close though. I love Morrowind. And no matter what anyone says, I love Oblivion. Both were great games, even if Oblivion wasn't what people were exactly hoping for. To me, the mods Oblivion has now, makes up TENFOLD for what Oblivion didn't deliver. I'd also like to point out that I hadn't played a modded Oblivion up until September of 2009. Oblivion was the [censored] on my 360 and I played up until I got it on my PC. So IDK, TESV has me pretty antsy right now.

Fallout 4 will probably be pretty [censored] irritating to wait for as well, and New Vegas is sounding better and better everyday IMHO.

EDIT: Honorable mention goes to Empire Total War. That game had me so psyched, but let me down so miserably. :cold:

I've played a lot of games in my life, and out of all of them, the most hours I have played probably goes to the Total War series, straight from the very beginning game of Shogun Total War. I seriously can't describe to you the let down that was ETW.... so that's why it is an honorable mention :P

Probably is the most badly I have ever wanted a game, usually, I just buy old games so I have never really anticipated the release of a game, as I have always got games a few months after their release. Oblvion I got on Christmas 2006.

I'd have to say FF7, it was the only reason I bought a PS. I also remember I wasn't that bothered about getting Oblivion, oh what a fool I was.

I'm looking forward to Fallout NV more right now. When we know more about TES V i'll start looking forward to it more, but right now I have my eyes set on Fallout.

The last game I was psyched about was Borderlands - then I got it and I thought it was awful so i'm trying to not get to exited about these games.

no the longer it takes them to announce a game the less likely i care
there are way too many good games either already out or coming out
that will take my time and money

I'd have to disagree, certainly on the RPG side most of them are poor efforts and as I only really like RPGs this limits my choice, although I have to admit I did enjoy Halo 3 and Gears Of War, which I bought out of desperation because of a lack of good RPGs. I also bought Gears Of War 2 which I really didn't like, couldn't even be bothered to finish it.

I'd take a solid action game like God of War III over a half-baked RPG any day of the week. I want a good game, even if it is in a genre I don't usually play. Same goes with music and comic books.
