Have you pre-ordered the game? If not, why not?

Speaking for myself, I've not yet pre-order the game because I don't see the point in it yet.
Perhaps if pre-ordering the game would give you something awesome, I would consider it.

I most likely find a place where I can buy the game digital and download it. Then I don't have to check my mailbox all the time for my pre-order.

I voted no I won't pre-order The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in the near future before release because I voted yes that I have pre-ordered it already.

Anyways, I'm getting the collectors edition for the PC/GOTY edition when it comes out maybe a year later. For now, I want to play the game hassle free.

I'm waiting for the collector's edition to be announced. There's no reason to pre-order this early anyway, it's not like they're going to run out. As soon as all of the editions are announced I'll pre-order.

I never pre-order because I live in a land far far away from civilization

nah I just drive 2 hours to the capital city ad get my shinny skyrim box from virgin mega store

for 120 dollars

yes we have 20000% taxes on stuff here and we get paid 10 dollars a year go figure, AND we get to have a war every month or so

And last question needs a "What the hell does this have to do with preordering?!" option.

Anyway- GotY (or equivalent) edition- instead of $60 or so for the "starter pack" and who knows what (guessing maybe 5-10 bucks a pop) for 5 or 6 half-assed DLCs, I sit tight and get the whole package complete for around $30. No-brainer if ya ask me, the only thing I miss is some glitches and pre-patch headaches. And piecing the game together over a span of months.

I never pre order since you never know if they will actually meet their release dates (consider those that preordered the http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/30/gamestop-will-honor-duke-nukem-forever-pre-orders-from-simpler-t/ - 14 years is a bit of a wait while some game company uses your $ !!)

I suppose if I could only join one guild per character my primary dude would join the mages guild. The fighters guild is boring, the thieves guild has a bunch of freelancers anyways, and the assassins guild is somewhat of a game breaker. (As long as it's like Morrowind)
