Yeah You have multiple fruit an corn on stocks/plants.An you are reciveing only 1 of them. This appears unbalanced. If you see 3 on a stock you should get 3 off of it.Very immersion braking.

This has nothing to do with actual feedback on the beta. It's just a feature request for some future update. You even gave it a [Beta} tag. Pathetic.

[edit]

It got moved to general discussion where it belongs. Thx moderator.

No worse than getting a single slice of meat from an entire Yao Guai or Deathclaw.. lol I don't see them changing that either.

I'm pre war, I have standards. I only pick the highest quality fruit and vegetables.

Let the post war lowlives have the rotten ones. They should be used to it.

OK, so they should 'balance' it by allowing multiple corn cobs per plant, but you can then only carry a maximum of 3 weapons (one being a sidearm). You'll also have a limited inventory based on volume and not just weight. Also if you lose a limb... sorry that's gone for good unless they add mechanical arms into the game.

Very immersion 'braking'... I mean breaking.

Somehow that was just perfect with your avatar!

On a related note:

Is there ANY crafting utility to the various "wild" plants (wild corn, wild tarberry, wild mutfruit, etc.)?

Obviously many of the non-domesticates are critical for various recipes (glowing fungus, brain fungus, hubflower, etc.) but I have yet to note for certain if any of these "wild" types have any use other than to just eat or sell them.

If you want to talk about realism with harvesting and planting I'd be more concerned about the entire process: planting to harvesting takes place in one day.. every day.. regardless of the time of the year.

"The earliest corn matures in about two months, the latest in about 3 months." - From http://veggieharvest.com/vegetables/corn.html (not sure the accuracy, but I assume they'd know better than I.) :P

If you pick brain fungus,

there are usually 3 large and 5 small pieces of fungus.

You can only pick two large pieces and 2 small pieces not all the fungus.

It's immersion breaking...

I think that, in most cases, the graphic that is left behind is just marking the plant's location, not meant to represent "unharvested" pieces.
