Having My Cake and Eating it Too

Wearing a brother hood scribe robe also helps, it counts as a disguse.
You'll need to kill every named NPC, and seemingly all others too.

Probably done best with no companions to bog ya down, yeah?

Yes I left them outside the bunker.
I really should have posted that too, very sorry.

I.E by killing them all with a silenced sneak attack,

That thought occurred to me a bit ago....I was remembering my experience sneak-killing all the legion in the Fort not making me Vilified, even w/Boone along. So in context of the way the game works, makes sense. Didn't have a Veronica save to test it with myself tho.

Yes, that script seems a double edged sword.
It may be designed to activate the alarms when you rig the reactor to blow.
Then to make this real it sets your rep automatically low to turn everyone hostile ( like they would irl. )
Veronica then just could have been tagged in along side this script to save room.

As even if you report back to Yes man, ( I did not try House this time, but the same result is quite likely. )
It puts up no flags in Veronicas dialogue, if you just killed them.

I'm sure a patch or unofficial patch will get rid of this oversight ( if it was one? )

i think if you do ALL of the BoS quests youll have enough favour with the faction for veronica not to leave.

I though if you help her leave the Brotherhood she wouldn't care?

She does.
But the sneak destruction works well.

The worse I got was a "I know their not great people but their my family, don't do it again" type response after I did the deed. And that's after the patch. The first time I had Arcade and Veronica was at the Lucky 38. Nothing happened.

My character did all the BoS quests and was idolized by them. He did Veronica's quest (convinced her to leave the BOS) and was then liked by them (used a stealthboy during the fight). He then destroyed the BoS bunker and is now a Smiling Devil or Troublemaker (again used a stealth boy to escape the place - killed the head scribe and Ramos). Veronica has no problems traveling with him.

I never touched Veronica's quests, but I did do all the BoS quests before I blew up their bunker, and Veronica never left me. I was fully expecting her to, but I returned to Lucky 38, asked her to follow me (just to check) and sure enough she was all happy and eager.

I really wouldn't mind though. I hate Veronica. Cass FTW!
