Or at least restart the game. It was running poorly, so I switched to low res textures to see what it was like. No performance boost, so I changed back and decided to deal with the bad framerate. When I got back (with hi res), frame rate was double what it had ever been. I have no way of explaining this, but I guarantee you its' not a placebo effect. It was literally a jump from like 20 to 45. Like something was clogging it up. I don't know how to explain it, but hopefully Crytek will look into it.

I can confirm this worked for me as well. For some reason the high rez textures boost my fps. It might be because i'm on a 64 bit system maybe it's better optimized? No idea.
