Hey all, this is a follow-up topic to the one i created yesterday (i believe), its about the museum i was building for myself on a new character.. I have the Falkreath house that you can build, problem is that i cant seem to place any weapons in the weapon rack, my

for example wont be placed, but falls to the floor every time, and that also includes when i try placing in on one of them shield/weapon racks.

My

behaves wierdly as well, it likes "Lays down" on the rack in some bizarre way, it didnt always use to be like this i remember, anyone know how i can fix this issue?

Are you playing on the console or PC?

I've only had issues with weapon racks and certain weapons, namely ones added through mods on my PC. I usually always hang the Axe of Whiterun on the wall in Breezehome and have never had an issue with the blade... so there is something going on in your Hearthfire home.

Its a long shot but is the armory finished? If so have you removed the crafting table? can't say that will solve the issue but it doesn't hurt to try. I remember reading somewhere about how crafting tables left in finished rooms could cause issues.

Hmm, well i did ask my Steward Lydia to handle the decoration for the armory room, might check to see if the workbench is there, i give an update on the progress

I've never seen the Ebony Blade play nice with any weapon rack regardless of the house.

I've hung ebony blades before but not often. I usually sell the ones I find. But the Axe of Whiterun I have never had an issue with. Both the one handed and two handed versions.

The Unofficial Patch fixes this if you're on PC.

Sometimes you just need to try a few times to get items to sit right.

I never have luck with any 2 handed weapons (or 1 handed weapons that are 2 handed models, like ebony blade) on the racks. They always end up on the floor. I put them on the plaques instead, no problems there.
