I am having a problem with magicka

I was playing Oblivion recently and found that my magicka was not being used up at nearly the same speed that it usually is. I then checked my character and found that I had well over 2000 Magicka. I know that there was a time that I did not have all this magicka and I believe that this problem emerged fairly recently because I almost immediately noticed the increase in magicka. I am running many mods, including FCOM and Midas magic and many other mods that might affect magicka. I really do not know what is going on. I tried to console command my magicka back to 400 (I am using the elys skills uncapper mod) and that would not work. (What I mean is that while I was still in the console it would say that I have 400 magicak, but immediately upon exiting the console my magicka goes back up to over 2000). I even console command my intelligence down to 10 and I have over 300 magicka, and with zero intelligence and I will still have 225 magicka. I have no idea what is causing this problem. I just want to have a normal amount of magicka for my intelligence (like 400 magicka for the 200 intelligence that I have.) Does anyone have any idea what is doing this?

Post your load order:

Wrye Bash - Open mods tab, right click File, select list mods, copy-paste the list.

OBMM - Press Import/Export buttion, select View Load Order, copy-paste the list.

Also is there some way through the construction set to make an item with an enchantment to drain magicka 500 or 1000 or something so that when I wear it my magicka goes back to relative normalness? I do not have any experience with the construction set so if this would work could anyone guide me through this? Thank you.

Read the BOSSlog, You need to take a look at the release thread for FCOM Convergence and UFCOM in the Oblivion Mods section of this forum. You have some extra Cobl plugins, There are EVE variants for OOO,MMM, and Francescos, and a specific EVE esp for use with FCOM.
You also have some plugins that are unneccessary because they are included in the Bashed Patch and part of Cobl, The UOP Vampire aging fix,Unlimited Training, spell delete esp, move quest items obse,etc...
Does one of your overhaul mods for magic use an ini configuration folder inside the Oblivion\Data folder? Have you tried to restore your stats using the UOP fix yet?

I always feared that I installed FCOM incorrectly (it is a very complicated process) I do not know exactly what to do with the Bashed Patch or what properties it has that I might be using incorrectly, or mods that I do not need to use with it or mods that it includes already so to include them myself would be redundant. Is there someplace I could go to, some guide or FAQ or something that would give me a clear guide on what it is and how to properly implement it so that I might limit any problems that could be caused from using it incorrectly?

I rebuilt my Bashed Patch according to the guide and now many of my mods are merged in and are no longer on my active mods list. Also I tried UOP stat fix and that didn't work. The problem still remains.

One thing that was interesting, however, is the fact that my level seems to directly influence my magicka. When I lower my level through console command my magicka and health goes down proportionally to the amount I change my level. Is this good or bad or somehow useful in determining what my problem is and thinking of ways to fix it?

I would look at your magic overhauls and your levelling mod, I do not use Oblivion XP. You may need to reset some values if it uses a configuration file.

That seems to work, it might have just been Oblivion XP the entire time. Once I uninstalled it my magicka remained the same but I was able to console command it back to whatever I wanted it to be at and it would stay. Thank you very much for all the help.
