having trouble in dead money, advise.

I got past all of the speakers and what not but got stuck on the hologram part, and before anyone says "google is your friend". Trust me I looked, all the walkthroughs are purpously vauge. They are out to destroy my gaming ambitions, but I'm loving the dlc so far great writing.

What Hologram part are you referring, too? When you first get into the casino or in the theater? What's the quest name?

IIRC, the hologram emitter are on the ceiling rafters, though some might be in the "rooms". And the fancy electrical door can be opened for the lowest(and from the entering view point, right most) "room", there's a computer there. Either sneak or run like hell, those are the only things I ever got through with.

If I got it right, go to the left once you enter the room, stay hidden all the time, in the corridor find the left most terminal and get the hologram to patrol the pipe room(I think). Wait for it to leave then go to the next terminal and select "alternate route patrol" or something like that. For the last hologram(the one guarding the forcefield) just run to the right of the room(don't mind if he sees you, if you are fast enough) because there is another speaker. Inside the other corridor is the last one. Deactivate the speaker, make the hologram patrol the computer control room and deactivate the forcefield. That should get you through.

If you are filling confident you can just go to the right from the beginning, Also if you got a high repair skill get up the small set of stairs and you can spot two holo-emitters for two of the holograms on the bars. Just make sure you either deactivate the speaker first or are fast enough to leave its proximity every once in a while.

EDIT: damn ninja'd

Did it really help? What I did in my first playthrough was just buy a lot of stim packs and ran through some of the harder holograms.

That and trying to get out were the only parts that really frustrated me. The rest wasn't as bad as people said it was.

That hologram one is probably the hardest part. That one feels like it needs a bit of luck and timing, and if you do it wrong, you could very well get yourself into an impossible-to-solve situation.
I typically end up hiding down by the terminal that shuts off the force field door as the holograms slowly approach, looking to kill me. They get REALLY close but eventually turn around and give up their hunt. I've ended up there both from killing an emitter or just from feeling I HAD to make a mad dash for that terminal because an opening simply wasn't happening.

Once I watched a video that showed me where the emitters where located, I had no issues with the 3 holograms. I sent one to patrol the water valve and then disabled the various emitters. :)
