Having Two keys perform the same action.

Post » Thu Nov 11, 2010 12:04 pm

I own a Wolfking Warrior keyboard and i am using Left CTRL to duck. I find it impossible to perform a slide with this configuration however so i would like to know if it is possible to set multiple keys such as Left CTRL or C to perform a crouch.

Most FPS games i play give you the option to do this in the configuration menu, but i've found no method of doing this in Crysis 2. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if keys are linked to action, or actions are linked to keys (like in, say, unreal tournament 2k4 or 3)
In the later, you can bind anything you want to a key. In the former, you can bind only one key to a restricted list of actions.
I didn't find any .ini file that save the key configuration.

have you guys tried to look at 3rd party programs. theres quite a few that will map keys from a game to additional ones.

I only use it because i made the mistake of purchasing a Razer Lycosa keyboard. Whoever designed such a pile of dung should be shot. My main gripe is the left shift key which requires you to press it in the exact centre, or it sticks. Oversight is the kindest word i could find to describe that.

This isn't what i was looking for but could you recommend me one?

I wrote a topic about this during the demo stage. I switched from ctrl -> alt.

Guess no-one from Crytek took notice. I hope the same isn't true this time.

Crytek please implement this feature, pretty please!
