Well I play a female character and I would totally love to have her find a boyfriend or a husband. It would be wonderful to have the option and choice to have a relationship in the game. And depending on how she would interact with him, would have a baring on whether he stayed or how much "love" he had for her. I mean, I guess you could base a love rating using a point system or something. I'm not a computer nerd so I couldn't begin to explain how it would work. I'd just like to experience it. That and the idea of getting little side jobs at a local Tavern to help earn some extra money. I think that'd be funny having to serve customers at the bar. It'd probably get pretty damn boring too. lol

And I agree with Iezza. Girls play these games, too. So all these ideas shouldn't be just directed at what the guys want. And I'm a guy, by the way.

I don't care how much realism people want in this game. Having a wife/husband does not make for good adventuring. Have quests related to being an adventurer. THis isn't the sims.

Love in a game, there would be no reason, it would feel artificial, and only be annoying.

Well LPS, I can see it from your point of view too. It wouldn't be realistic. And now that I think about it, that's what fan fic is for. I suppose if I want my character to fall in love, I can have her do that in the stories that I write of her. So yeah, I agree with you there.

Good Idea, but make it better than Fables concept, make it possible to form a relationship, and make it possible that if you do grow old, she grows old too, and if you have kids they grow older and get out of the house. That's what makes it tough to have kids in games.

Yeah, and this girl happens to be able to keep reality away from fiction, and knows any attempt at a "relationship" by a computer is as close to a real relationship as http://source-www.petco.com/Assets/product_images/0/079100450992B.jpg are to real omelets and bacon.

Be the funniest idea, a annoying wife tells you not to go venturing lol. Or you may cheat on her and see what she does.

mine would be a maiden warrior who butchered the city gaurds while i steal stuff in peace, then we would have wild six on imperial city's roofs. she would be an elf and i would be human. do you think there is something wrong with that? my friends say that its disgusting

I think adding a companion like that is a great idea. Adds alot of depth to some of the characters I rp.

IMO the biggest problem seems to be how you are actually gonna do it without making it completely unrealistic and unneccery, which is why they need to only focus on a few potential wifes or husbands, not even that, forget Marriage, focus on a love story who dosnt involve something religious. Just pure love and lust...

The fact that all of that is your fantasy, and you probably have fantasized about it, is what is disgusting :P

marriage would be nice, like in fable. but i wouldnt choose a weak dumner, id rather have a nord women, just as strong as any imperial man but not as ugly as an orc.

Having a wife sounds.....fun (No, not that way, jeez :P)

Especially if they shared the same interests as your character, so you can do things together. (IE: Quests, raiding, exploring, etc)

I'd go with an Argonian :hubbahubba:
