Im not sure if this is even considered a crash because I cant see the screen when it happens.

I am on windows 7 64 bit and I have a vizio LCD tv that I've used with no problem on other games when connecting via HDMI.

I heard that oblivion doesnt like dual screens so I set the laptop to only show on the TV. The game starts up fine, but when I load my game - very quickly (usually when I activate an item or swing a weapon) my tv flashes a few times and then goes to the no-signal 'blue screen' (not blue screen of death but the TV blow screen as if its not getting any input)

I then have to either unplug and replug the hdmi card and it occasionally comes back on only to do the same thing again when I get back into the game - or sometimes I have to restart my computer manually by holding the power button (since I cannot even see anything on the screen anymore)

Like I said, I've played other PC games like thsi with no issue, is there something I need to do? Certain resolution?
