HDRBloom stops working after transition exteriorinterior

Post » Mon Dec 08, 2014 3:15 pm

Hi all. I use TrueVision ENB. As per title, I load a game, I am outside, and then everytime I move into an interior, the beautiful blooming effect is gone for good, even if I go outside again.

I guess it is hardware related.

Do you know what could be the cause?

It's definitely ENB related? WIth ENB disabled are there any more weird effects?

I fear it might be my video card (AMD Radeon 6900 4gb).

Without ENB on, I don't lose bloom because ENB's bloom is not there in the first place.

Oh, and Atl-Tab-bing during the game solves the issue, BUT it's a pain in the ass and immersion-breaking to do it, because it takes 5 seconds to load Skyrim from Alt-Tab, and I should do it every single time the problem arises.

- Open your SkyrimPrefs.ini file located in your "My Documents" folder and make sure these lines are set

bFloatPointRenderTarget=1 (have you added this ???)
bDrawLandShadows=1
bTreesReceiveShadows=1
iBlurDeferredShadowMask=5 (use this setting if you have your shadows set to "Ultra" in the SkyrimLauncher)

- Open enblocal.ini and set the VideoMemorySizeMb parameter (e.g. VRAM + RAM - 2048)

- Disable AA/AF in the SkyrimLauncher options

--------

Take a look here too:

UPDATE: This mod is now optimized for ENB Series v0.236. Download the binary files here http://enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0236.htm.

This new version of the ENB Series adds new features, and has improved performance.

--------

You have this enabled on your enbseries.ini file ???

EnableBloom=true

Unless there are other issues, I wouldn't jump to conclusions and say its your GPU.

Yes, I have all of that. The only different line was iBlurDeferredShadowMask that was 3, now I set it at 5, but I'm afraid it was not the culprit. Anyway, thanks for the answers.

Does it seem to be just bloom or some/all of the ENB effects? Do you still have godrays, depth of field, etc?
