HDTV Stuttering Problem

When I play Oblivion and a few other games using HDMI to connect to a HDTV I get this strange problem. The problem occurs when you start the game and it causes the screen to stutter almost like a stobe light. It kind of looks like when you try to adjust the TV attenas in the old days and the picture would be looping.
I'm just wondering if there is a way to fix this. By the way Oblivion runs fine when I'm not using the HDTV.

Have different flavor of cable you can use to test with? Might be a product of too many 'signal conversions' happening there, introducing lag. If your tv has a VGA input, or S video input, and your card has those outputs, try one of those.

Have different flavor of cable you can use to test with? Might be a product of too many 'signal conversions' happening there, introducing lag. If your tv has a VGA input, or S video input, and your card has those outputs, try one of those.


I went out a bought a VGA cable and that did the trick. Thank you for your help HeyYou.
