Headless Bruma Statue?

So, I've run into this weird problem.
I'd just completed the Defense of Bruma and went to go check out my statue,
but it appears to be headless.

I dunno why.

I am using the TGND body and all my gear shows up there, but my head is gone.

I reloaded a save and tried it again, zoning into Bruma, this time with nothing equiped. And my hands/feet/head were missing.

When I have gloves and boots on, they show up just fine on the statue.

I tried buying a hood and equiping it before zoning in, but my head is still gone -- and the hood doesn't show either.

Anyone else have this problem?

Yeah, when I wear my Helmet of the Crusader (from Knights of the Nine), it shows up like normal.

Also, when I wear the full set of Crusader gear, my statue is in full color. But that's a whole different thing that I don't care about.

Why won't the statue show my head?
I don't use any weird face or hair mods or anything. I created my character before I implemented mods. Just a vanilla Wood Elf.

I use a different hair texture. Removed it from my data folder, and no effect.
I also use an eyelash mod -- disabled and still no change.

Nothing really that I can imagine that would affect the statue.

I have only done the MQ so far once during all these years so what do I know, but my guess would be that as TGND uses an esp the game gets confused with paths because of that. You could check this by temporarily loading the game w/o TGND before the statue is created. Also, http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3428 seems like useful mod when having issues with the statue.

I don't get it.

Disabling the TGND esp did not affect my statue either, nor did the Update My Statue mod.

I've got a saved game in Bruma straight after the battle. I go up to Martin in Cloud Ruler Temple and then fast travel back to Bruma and my statue appears.

So far, the only way I can get my character's head to appear is if I am wearing a full helmet that completely replaces my head.
It svcks. :( I don't want a statue of a bucket-head.

Well, I've identified the culprit.

I disabled all my mods and loaded up my auto-save next to my statue and my head was where it should have been.

I started activating mods a couple at a time and kept loading up that same save until I found out which one of my mods removed my statue's head.

The offending mod is:

P1DseeYouSleep.esp
P1DseeYouSleep - DLCVileLair.esp

With all my other mods turned on and these turned off, my statue has her head. But when I activate this mod, the head is gone.

But I don't understand why.
Really would like a solution to this, too, as I enjoy this mod.

Alright, I think I've figured it out.

For future reference, and for reasons beyond my understanding, taking out the "(-) Helm" from your Sleepwear Configuration bag and putting it into your inventory seems to let your statue have a head.
After that, you can put it back into the Sleepwear Configuration bag and as long as you leave your statue alone, like if you're using "Update my Statue", nothing will happen to it.
