I give PUGs a chance when it comes to communication. But with team based games, I actually try my best to avoid PUGs and play with my friends. CoD is an exception, due to the fact that the game can be won by just one person (which is me 80% of the time).
Which is why I pimped the heck out of this game to my friends who I know make excellent teammates from previous experiences of other FPS and RPG games. Got myself 5 friends plus myself to make a pretty nice 6 man/women team.
? PUG - 1. In RL, a pug is a small, wheezy dog that looks like it had its face smashed in by brick wall. 2. In online gaming, the acronym PUG stands for "Pick-Up Group," which is a group of players who've gotten together (or been thrown together) in order to accomplish a goal, a quest, or whatever. PUGs are oftentimes mix-and-match, hit-or-miss groups that are less than optimum for achieving a goal.
