I must admit it is like a kick in the groin that they open the headstart on a sunday. What is the idea behind waiting for Sunday, and not opening it on Saturday? Give people the weekend to play.

Not the slightest idea but working from home on Monday knowing eso is there, accessible, just a click away is going to be, jep, like one of those groin kicks you’re talking about. hrrr
Should not you be happy you have early access...
Thats my whole question isent it. So I dont really consider that an answer =)
No I paid for it, they should be happy I wanted it.
Damn, sounds like I grew up in the wrong country. We only got good Friday off here.
Lets just hope for a Friday - Sunday beta.
I know, wishful thinking and all...
You payed for the game, you knew the release day, if you cannot count from that... it's your problem.
The game releases on Friday 4th April, right before a weekend. If you don't like the fact that 5 days early access just happens to be a Sunday, then wait until Friday 4th which is the advertised start time, then you have THE WHOLE WEEKEND right after launch.
Personally I am happy for any early access and will take what I am given, without regard for the day on which it falls.
I'll be taking a day off at some point to have a birthday celebration for myself with family and friends (more for them than for me, I gave up caring about birthdays when I could no longer remember how old I was without having to calculate it from my year of birth), so it's not as if I will be 'ahead' of you.
Wow.
Here's a small wake-up call: 5 is a better marketing number than 6, and they based the Early Access days off of the launch day (Friday, 4/4). They did not look through your personal calendar and pick the ideal start day for you, and early access is just a perk. This isn't launch weekend, and it isn't something they're required to do for you. Kindly get off your high horse.
Not my personal calender no, but they should know that 5 days would make a sunday, so why the personal hate on me? I preordered, and they should be happy I did. What is wrong with that? I should be happy that they offered me a product to buy? Get real =)
Saying that i knew the day when i preordered, sure, I did. Is that any reason why I cant question why they put 5 and not 6 days in the preorder when it would fall on a saturday? What is with the hate?
It's five days because that's the number. It could have been 3 for everyone. It could have been 7. I could have been a whole month. But they picked 5 days and that's really all there is to it. It's not like they were being malicious or anything... I find it generous that they are opening the game early to so many people at all.
Why is this even an issue? This is the sort of thing that gives the gamer community as a whole the reputation of being "entitled." Please stop making planets out of pebbles. It reflects poorly on all of us.
You are making planets out of pebbles here missy. I asked why they didnt make it saturday, and you guys attack like i asked for your childrens heads. Saying it just is as it is, is a stupid point to make. It does not offer any reason, just a stupid statement. Its not an issue, unless you make it one, mine weas a question, to something that seems obviously weird. Doing stuff because you can, dont make it good or right.
Unless, like me, you are going to be doing more playing than working. Mondays are usually light in terms of work and I'm making sure I have everything wrapped up on Friday so whatever I need to do on Monday will be minimal.
pity we can not gather together at Zenimax Studio and protest - then for sure they would open servers earlier.
You used the phrase "kick in the groin." That, at the least, is hyperbole that implies malicious intent.
If it wasn't intended like that, then I apologize for jumping down your throat. Most of us assumed this is just another complaint thread because we've been enduring a LOT of those recently, and most of us are also getting jittery with the release so close.
These sorts of threads may be best held until after launch, is what I'm saying.
