you should add rest to the first option... but i would only like the first option.. no health regeneration for me please... aside certain FPS, i am not a fan of health regen.

I would like to see some sort of physical damage taken by my character if he gets injured. and have the wounds heal within a couple of days by sleeping or repairing them by magic.

Food should give back stamina but not health. The only thing I would like to see here is it possibly increase your rate of natural healing ability, which I'm for. Not like the game breakers you could enchant your kit with in Morrowind, but some slow healing.

Magic, potions and rest for healing. Sleep and magic for injuries (broken bones, etc).

Maybe they could incorporate a minigame where you have to manually stitch all the cuts shut, then pick the proper incantations from a choice of words in the dialog system, and if successful this would cue the system to play a cutscene of your wounds knitting shut over time to improve the immersion. [/sarcasm]

Nah, "the usual drink, eat, magic refills health bar" works fine for me.

You do realize you're probably going to get a wave of satire from the anti-realism party, don't you?

I like the way healing as worked so far in elder scrolls game but I think that adding a first aid kit fo those who don't want to use magic could be a good idea

out of al the options given, I like the usual one the best. I think they have a good thing going for them, and I don't really see how else they could make it better. It would be cool though if you could get scars from battles that stay on your body, but that would be a lot of scars! haha.

I also think it would be pretty cool if you were injured, it would show you limping along a little bit or holding your arm until you could rest or take a potion or something. It would add to the immersion.
