Healing Curie?

Post » Tue Jan 12, 2016 5:18 pm

Generally I avoid companions at least in terms of wandering around with them. I do like to 'collect' them however at a settlement (Castle). Recently however I got it into my head that I wanted Curie in her other form and now have 'her' following me about so I can slowly work up her like for me. (Just how log is this going to take, as I really do not like tagalong followers?)

I have just encountered the problem however of Curie taking damage, she's sparkling, and I don't have the slightest clue how to repair/heal her. Is there a trick I am missing? Should I simply ignore all damage and let her die and resurrect on her own? Or should I be constantly parking her in a safe space and running back and forth to move her safely?

I can't heal her either since the patch. Everyone else you just have walk up to and press x/ the Xbox and pc equivalent to the button.

You will stop gaining affinity with her (even if you do things she likes) until you finish a part of the main questline.

Spoiler
Her affinity will stay at 499 until you finish Emergent Behavior, which can only be completed after the quest Dangerous Minds (from the main questline).

Edit: for clarification.

Doesn't stimpacks work on her anymore? I could swear I stimpacked her one or two days before christmas, but if there was a patch after that I don't kow, she never "goes down" for me. :)

Since she is a synth, stim packs should not work. But I have noticed that when I gave X6-88 some junk to carry, he used up some of the aluminum he was carrying. If you can trade same steel, Al, gas, and the like to her, then she might heal herself quicker.

I have her 'bot' form with me now and she will go down, but when I run up to her there's no option to actually do anything for her. Eventually she just gets up on her own though.

Course it makes since to me that a Stimpak wouldn't work anyway in bot form, but I figured there would just be some other option (kick her in the side or whatever). I thought Synth had flesh and blood though so wouldn't Stimpak's work on them?

I haven't tested this, as I normally just leave them down til they get up on their own, but I know Codsworth can't be stimpak'ed and it'd make sense if miss nanny Curie couldn't but, but synth curie could, due to being biologicial.
