Health, Magicka, and Fatigue all at 0/0

Post » Tue May 03, 2011 12:59 am

I am having a bit of a problem. Whenever I load a save in my game, my health, magicka, fatigue and all of my skills and attributes are all at 0. I have absolutely no idea what is causing this. I was thinking it might be Pluggy, because I had have problems with my save games from that in the past, but even after getting rid of all the pluggy files, the .obse files in my save folder, and starting a new game, my values are still freaking out. Here is my load order:

Which version of OBSE and nGCD are you using? If the latter's 2.1.1, which is the current version, than you required OBSE 20.

It's version 19... I guess I will upgrade to obse 20.

But THANK YOU! This problem has been plaguing me for a while now!

Hopefully, that will do it.

But as a general rule of thumb, RTFM, or in this case, the readme file, and especially the requirements and issues sections before using a mod. ;)

Hmm, that didn't seem to work, exactly. It worked the first time I played after upgrading to obse v20, but now it glitches up once I load a game still.

Were you running a version of nGCD that didn't require OBSE 20, previously? Because if so, you may have caused some problems when you changed versions, since you switched off nGCD (in effect when you ran the latest version without OBSE 20), and then started up nGCD, again. May want to check this out in the nGCD thread.

I deactivated nGCD and saved a game without it, then I reactivated it and it seems to work fine now. Thanks for the help.

Whew. Good. When some mods that change skill advancement rates, racial bonuses and the like are altered, things can really screw up. There's a utility I was going to recommend to try and straighten that out, but I'm glad it wasn't necessary.
