I Hear Voices But No One Is There

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 3:49 am

Are other people getting the voices of enemies as if they are there in the room with them but they're actually far away, sometimes even on another floor?

Playing this game with headphones... I hear enemies... walk over to them... they're on the other side of a very big wall.

Anyone else?

Its simply mobs aggroing through the Ceiling/Floor or walls, happens all the time.

It baffles me how a bug like this can be in the game?!

Yes, in the Corvega Assembly Point.

Bit of a Mish Mash of a level.

I could hear people through massive walls as if they were in the same room as me.

Perhaps I can RP it away and say that voices carry through the ducts. That's exceptionally easy going of me I'd say.

Hope it's not like this in the rest of the game.

I spent way more time than I'd like to admit trying to navigate through the Massachusetts State Home yesterday, what a nightmare. I figured it was full of raiders, took a couple out and then I heard more talking but could NOT find them. I went through every room a dozen times til I found out how to go deeper into the building(which I STRONGLY recommend you do not do without having very strong firepower, seriously...).

So I get down there and survive a nightmare battle I won't spoil for you, then I finally discover those two raiders I overheard an hour prior in a totally different part of the building higher up, and after what I just went through to find them they were barely relevant anymore lol. I was so lost for the longest time, and after I finally cleared that hellhole I get out and realize I'm missing Strong. Had to go back in and search all over again to find the big green moron. Anyway, my point is that the voice displacement was a major contributing factor to my dizzying confusion in that place lol.
