Since it's the spoilers forum and you asked, I would say DON'T keep them unless you're a mage.

They are used for a conjuration spell you can get as part of a quest later. If you're big into Conjuration, then hold onto them.

They're used in crafting recipies for staffs.

Although the staffs aren't that particularly useful anyways.

My advice would be to save some up, but don't hoard them if they're dragging you down.
