w hat i'm wondering here is the walkthrough isn't helping me here. i've gotton thorugh the Goddess atrium for the most part but now i came to anotehr cask. and it syas to put the shadow dagger in but there is no shadow dagger to be found

I may be getting confused here but is that the area where there are a couple of caverns and passages to swim through? Some of those shadow daggers and other weapons are found on the corpses of enemies you kill. If you have killed some zombies and skeletons check their bodies and the surrounding areas thoroughly.
