Right. Shall we (you :P ) try to get the Vampire problem fixed?

So; there is no way to turn vampireism on/off right, even though there is the vampire 1 check?

Guessing; the reason one dies in the dream is because of Sun Damage - the scene is in a outdoor worldspace. Does the menu when you are sleeping move you before the timer is set to wake you up, is there in that case any way to stop the teleportation until the last second?

One might check the sun-damage and mitigate it with restore health spell?

Start the scene indoors.

Anything I can do to test?

Actually, if you have a vampire you can try the newest version (6.2). I put in a fix, but I didn't list it because I have no way to test to see if it works. I basically had day and night look exactly the same anyway, so I shortened the day cycle to the minimum (10 min) and made the nighttime 23 hours, 50 min. There's still a ten minute window, but that's a very small chance of ever happening.

Congrats on this amazing mod!

Remember all the time you spent packaging the mod and making a BSA file?
I did it in 7 minutes using TES4Files. TES4Files packages mods, creating
the BSA file too. It lists missing models in addition to eliminating uneeded
models, textures, etc.

Just some small fixes. Mainly the damn Shield Pedistal bug is finally fixed. (Thanks to Locksley for inadvertantly cracking it!)

I don't have time to put up another full version, so if you don't have HOD, download the 6.0 full version first, and then apply the 6.2 update.

- Strange Liquid fountains : 100% instant CDT
- CDT when lighting activators in 03HODWKEnd (this happens just after the fast travel).

Tried to unload some mods, changed position in Wrye Bash but nothing succeed.

Tried to unload some mods, changed position in Wrye Bash but nothing succeed.


Both of these have to do with a conflict with other mods that deal with health. Both the fountains and the buttons give the player back health by using a health power. (It can't use a spell because of certain limitation with the casting of said spells).

Anyway, the work around in WKEnd is to open the console and type "tcl" to turn off your collision and then head down into the column from the main room. Hit tcl to turn your collision back on.

This level is the last time that health power is used.

The odd thing is that I havne't been able to figure out which health mod is conflicting. All the ones I've tried have worked fine.

Hi, Middark.
Great mod. Just started it for first time as my main goal - to play from start to end.
Stuck a bit, sure it is my fault...

Cheidinhall - the NPC Rune attacks me regardless what my answer is thus ending his life with suicide (I am lvl 60+ and for someone like him to attack me is a suicide).
After Rune's death I cannot open the portal and every attempt gets mesage There is no way to open the door.
Tried to seek advice fron Inar - he has no new topic and sends me to talk to folks in Chaydinhall castle.
Which I already did and which led to Rune's death. By suicide :D

What happens is:

I go to the cave, get a jade shield and a note.
I go back ti Inar in Bruma, he sends me to Castle Cheidinhall
the guard captain Garius directs me to Rune.
Rune takes me to a door, then asks my true name, I say my name, he attacks me, I stay - he dies trying. I kill him - he dies.
So, Rune cannot survive.
Because he mentions the shield I wear the jade shield, try to activate door... get message there is no obvious way to open it.

All that time journal does not update.

Is HOD over for me?

There is a Dragon Torch back in the coffin where you found the Jade Shield. Equip it near the shield.

Good mod. I've played through a bit of it and it's pretty good so far. I have to comment on one area though. I found the monastery above Cheydinhall while doing some random exploring and I've got to say it's kind of a mess. I noticed this a long time ago but I'd figured it would've been updated in subsequent patches. There are rocks floating all over the place where you've altered the land height. Also the buildings are unroofed and the back of the monastery is unfinished which wouldn't be a huge deal except there are lots of places you can get behind and above the buildings and see down into them. Lastly you can get into the crater by normal means but if you do the only way out is to fast travel. Some of the issues can be fixed with liberal use of the disable command but not all of them of course. You may not have been aware of the issues so consider this a heads up. I like the mod so far but that monastery could use some polish.

I'm having an issue with the strange liquid causing an instant CTD. The heal spell is added shows up in the corner of the screen and then boom....CTD. I've seen this issue mentioned on this thread but can't seem to find a solution. I have the latest update as well. Anyone found a way around this? Do I need the liquid to finish the quest? thanks for reading...

Actually you don't need the liquid, it's just to help you out with health. This is a conflict with one of the various health mods out there, but I don't know which one. The solution is to not use them... :)

The quests are no longer updating! After leaving the cave north of Chorrol and venturing to the collector he gave me instructions to meet a friend but I didn't recieve his directions and the quest didn't update in the quest log. Hey all.

I've recently started this over and am at the in the room with the white liquid floor, with the button at the end where you need to equip the gloves to touch a button past the white flame. Once I press the button I'm teleported to the main area again, but then the game crashes. Every time. Anyone had this issue before and perhaps fixed it? thanks

Ok, this issue is still happening, but the lase attempt I tried I may have got a clue. After I teleported, just before the crash, a window popped up that said "fixing spell." Does this mean anything to any of you ? I've never seen this message before, I think it's specific to the mod.

SMALL UPDATE!!!

The ESP Update for 6.3 is up on Nexus and the HOD website:

Fixed:

- Made HOD compatible with Saphira's Romance. Had to take out a few rocks up near the Dragon Top.
- Took out auto health in the Buttons in the Quest 3 Dream of the Dead. No more crashing when hitting them for some people. It also means that you need to bring some potions, though...
