Does anyone know the specific speech options I need to take to get her to follow me or does it take time? I have Heartache by the Numbers and it is at the point where it has not updated because I need Cass to become my companion. I got her to sell the caravan and talked to Alice and everything and everytime I ask her what she is going to do now she just says i dont know. Anyone have an idea? I don't have a human companion.

Do I have to finish You Can Depend on Me first?

In order to complete "you can depend on me", you have to get cass to let go of her caravan, then she will come with you. You need a minimum of speech 50 or barter 50.

Hmmmm, if you have 2 followers she won't come with you, but that dialogue usually triggers after you have asked her to join and she accepts, then rejects you becasue you already have 2 followers. What you have sounds different to this.

At least try out the dialogue options you have tried before, they are usually grey'd out but they sometimes lead to a new dialogue option which wasn't there before, I think this is what I did. You might have tried this already and if so I'm not sure what else to suggest I'm afraid......

She and I had a falling out during her quest, I had to put her down (Im in hardcoe mode - balistic fist made it pretty instant and pain free) but next time I loaded up it said she was back at the outpost! I checked and she wasn't there so that was just another minor bug I spose. I couldn't complete Veronica's quest becasue she became all non responsive, Arcade is looking good though, him and Boone both have combat armor and look like a nice couple and all 3 of us seem to be getting on nicely right now

I've tried several times through several of he roptions and nothing has popped up that asks her if she wants to join me. I already got her to sell her caravan and everything and I've tried all the different speeches except the whiskey one to get her to sell and nothing.

nevermind, even though I had a mod that allowed me all the followers for whatever reason I had to dismiss them all and then it came up. Thanks anyways guys.
