Titto for me. I guess I'll have to settle for Falkreath.

Ok, where are your wife and kid now (and have you actually seen them there), and where are you trying to move them to?

im having issues with the carpenter's benches as well, it seems like it will still give the option to build something ive already built (garden, apiary, stables etc) but when i choose to pick something ive already built all of my options will disappear and i wont be able to get back into it until i enter my house and exit back out. i noticed after this happened a few times that nothing was being built when this happened (presumably because i had already built the things i was trying to build again lol)

also i had one hard freeze while in my home in riften, i was moving stuff around and gathering up some supplies and it froze when i tried to open a chest. this is the first hard freeze i have had since patch 1.8 and the few months prior to it

also, not sure if this one is DB or HF related but i didnt notice it until after i installed HF, 3 out of 4 of the mannequins in severin manner are duping armor, i tried to remove a few sets i had stored there to move to my new armory and when i went back inside after exiting the building all the armor i had just taken off had respawned on the mannequins, i know this is a well know bug with mannequins but it wasnt happening in severin manor for me until i installed HF

overall tho i think performance is good, a few small bugs are to be expected at this point =p

It's possible you haven't completed the criteria for getting land in that hold. See below:

We're investigating this. As a workaround, we recommend disabling autosaves and refraining from saving during the Dreamstride area of the quest. Once you've completed the area, you can re-enable autosaves.

My child went right to the new house I built, and my wife is at home in solitude. Ysolda is my wife, and she only has 3 options at the moment. Whats for sale, and her other two typical speach options. No options to move, even to my other vanilla houses.

And yes I've seen them both there, my current save I just got done talking to my son in my Hearthfire home.

OK, I wondered if your child moving to the new place would somehow trigger Ysolda joining them there but she hadn’t quite made it yet. Sounds like that’s not what happened if you’ve seen her at the old house. Sorry, maybe someone else will have a solution.

The only thing I can think to try is to buy the kids’ room for Solitude (which in my game removed the cookpot), tell your kid to move to Solitude, and then try to ask Ysolda to move once the family is together. I have no idea if that will work, so I’d keep a save in case somehow it makes things worse (like your kid gets lost).

Or hopefully someone else knows how to fix this.

Sounds like a good idea, thanks. I'll give it a try when I'm home.

The bug where Rayya has two sets of scimitars affects the PS3.

If that bug happens, don't try and take the extras because if you do she won't use her swords at all.

I bought Falkreath but with a non-Dark Brotherhood toon.

I took my level 20 2H LA Argonian straight to Falkreath (from Solstheim) (40hrs, 7mb) and did nothing but wander Hearthfire stuff.

I was collecting iron, buying lumber and doing a couple bounty missions for the good of the hold. I got about half the manor built up now.

I haven't noticed any bugs.

Yes, here too, but...

I didn't know about this, I took all her scimitars and improved two of them.

After I gave them back and I'm pretty sure she was using them again.

Can't get Rayya to dual wield. Scimitars still show up as two sets even after using the fix listed on the wiki. However both sets are listed in right hand. That is two separate listings of right hand with two scimitars each. This is also true with other scimitars that are not her original. I have to give her two scimitars for her to use one in the right hand. I am fairly sure when I first got her she had a left hand set but I removed them so fast I am not 100% sure. Reloading a previous save does not fix this. When I did take her weapons I had only two scimitars listed in my inventory. Now no matter what I do she only will carry weapons in her right hand. Only scimitars are affected other weapons list as normal. I haven't tried a reinstall yet. I am using a save file with 12mb and 600 hours.

The Iron Ore vein outside of Lakeview Manor is floating above the rocks that it was placed over.. check it out:

I got Falkreath right away with a DB character. Though the thane was a Stormcloak so that may have been the difference. Perhaps it's the Imperial side that screws up when you use a DB toon?

How far built is your house? This happened to me as well and I had to build at least the Main Hall before the option came up for Lydia. (that's actually her mining the ore in the pic I posted above)

I have built the main hall. It still does not appear.

That might be something.. I am not sure if you can have your spouse as a steward, to be perfectly honest.

Wife-wise, will she move in as a wife? Do you have beds, etc there already?

Yeah for the wife to move in you have to at least have the main bed constructed. I would just try with another character for steward. With mine I have it as Rayya as my housecarl, Lydia as the steward and Aela my wife all living at Lakeview manor. Dragonborn has a harem, yo!

Which house is it? If you do that you will lose her has housecarl.. Especially if it's Lakeview.. then you'll only have one person living there aside from your wife. Best to choose a random follower over a housecarl for the steward job.

Yeah I think any of the Companions work. I found that Faendal in Riverwood was a good Steward. Also Kharjo is a great one too as he's excellent in combat in case anyone comes a knockin!
