I know this is a massive topic over the net, but my problem is different, although I still can not buy land in Falkreath.

I have diagnosed my problem as being that the game still thinks that Nenya is steward even though she is exiled to the Blue Palace with Siddgeir.

I discovered this because when ever I went to the Jarl's house in Falkreath, I was getting nothing out of Dengeir, even though he is now Jarl as I sided with the stormcloaks.

However Tekla does give me the odd bit of work now and again, but if I talk to her she keeps on telling me she is only Dengeir's maid, and she will not give me the option to buy any land. So I went to the Blue Palace and spoke with Nenya, and I have the option to talk to her about her being steward, and she tells me she was steward with Dengeir, before Siddgeir took over and kept her on as steward. Also, the Dengeir's protector also comments on how Nenya is the best Steward Falkreath has.

So I have no way of making the game realise that Tekla is the righful steward. I am level 68, all my Miscellaneous Quests are completed except a couple of permanent talk to Skald to collect bounty, so I have no other Radiant Quests open or pending.

Has anyone got any ideas on how to solve this?

Are you a Thane of Falkreath? Done 5 favors for the citizens?

I was a Thane Of Falkreath when Siddgeir was Jarl, I then completed the Stormcloak campaign, and then Dengeir Of Stuhn became Jarl, since then I can not do anything for anyone in Falkreath anymore. None of the citizens of are giving me anything to do, I have no quests open involving Falkreath.
