Hi,

I downloaded and began playing with the Hearthfire DLC a few weeks ago. I originally made a house at Lakeview Manor and began upgrading it and using it to store all of my items in separate chests (armor, dragon priest masks, ingredients, etc.). There is also a PS3 downstairs in my apartment that is played on a bigger TV, which I like to use occasionally when it's free. I transferred my save to that PS3 and began playing on it. Unfortunately, I never installed Hearthfire on it and all of my progress since (level 37-43) was recorded on the other PS3 without Hearthfire or any DLCs installed. I just attempted to transfer my save back to my original PS3, which has Hearthfire installed, and when I opened up the save there is no Lakeview Manor, so there is no way to access all of my items.

Do I need to rebuild the house for all of my items to reappear, or is that a waste of time as they're all gone forever? If not, it's only a loss of 6 levels and 10+ hours of gameplay so I'd rather not waste my time continuing if I need to reload the old save.

You need to go back to the save on the original PS3 before the transfer when you had the manor and all the items. Once you take it out of savefile because of the inability to access the DLC stuff, it is lost on that particular file even if you go back. However, there might be a chance you could still partake in Hearthfire taskes again and regain the manor, but you would need to rebuild and restock it. If you took the played savefile from the 2nd PS3 and copied over the pre-transfered file on the original PS3, you won't be able to access that previous progress.

In short, the progress you made without the Hearthfire content can't be put back onto the system to and regain the houses you had previously.

• go back to level 37 on the pre-transfer file and do it over again
• check to see if you can redo the Hearthfire tasks on the transfered file on a system(s) that has Hearthfire installed
