My latest character found some Black-briar mead in a dungeon, and knowing that Sidgeir likes the stuff, she took it to Falkreath, and spoke to him. He asked for some mead, it was already in inventory, and saved a trip. But that bypassed the usual letter etc. for the Hearthfire quest, and when the "kill the bandit leader" quest was done, and the grant of land purchase made, it appears that something broke. Talking to the steward gets the whole spiel, the quest updates to stage 100, but no charter is given, and no money changes hands. So no drafting table etc. at the site.

I've tried asking if the land's still available, but again the dialogue tells me the sale is being made, but the state of the quest doesn't change. The "Is that land still available" option remains, no money changes hands, and the objective to visit the site never come up.

SetStage BYOHHouseFalkreath 100 does nothing. It doesn't re-run the script fragment that was supposed to set the objective, and enable the building site stuff. It looks like the fragment didn't function the first time, and now can't be re-done. Anyone know how to force it forward without breaking anything more?
