I'm currently creating an NPC overhaul mod, part of which involves changing merchants' goods so they actually sell what's on their stalls. For example Aval Atheron in Windhelm is clearly a butcher/fishmonger according to the goods on display, but he weirdly sells general goods.

Anyway, I've managed to change their goods by changing their chest inventories. However some still insist on selling goods such as glass and straw even when there are no Hearthfire items (as far as I can tell) in their inventory whatsoever. Is there any way to stop this? Somehow block Hearthfire's influence? I'm using a combined esp file with all the official DLC loaded.

Uninstalling Hearthfire is not a solution lol.
