This is my first play through and hearthfire seems cool. I have built up my house a little, but I have a few questions.

1. How to I get my apiary to work? It has had 5 bees and 1 honeycomb in it for a few days, but is isn't going up.

2. My house seems very empty. The only thing inside it is a chest and a few workbenches. How do I make it look better?

3. What is the point of a cellar?

4. What can I do with a stable?

P.S. - My game does not like me getting sawn logs. The first time I tried, a dragon spawned and killed the mill owner. I tried riverwood mill, but I can't find the person I am supposed to buy from. The next mill I tried, another dragon appeared. This time though, the mill owner survived (yay).

1) its a standard respawning container.. empty it of bees and honeycombs, and it will restock itself next time the cell resets

2) go up to the work bench in the specific room you wish to decorate, it will bring up the furnishing menu with a list of all furniture and materials needed to craft them

3) another room.. you can make Alters for each of the Nine Divines, alot of Safes for storage, a Blacksmithing setup, if your a Vampire you can build a sleeping coffin down there, and if you give your kids a Dagger they will go test it on the dummy down there

4) After you build the Stable, you can talk to your Steward and ask him to buy a horse for you
