re-[RELz] Heaven's Wrath Alt Helmet v3

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 9:04 pm

I'm going to go ahead and announce a re-release of my HW Alt Helmet since there's now two new versions of the helmet mesh.

You can find the mod here: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27317

Here's the new posted readme:

Description:
I loved the Lost Paladins of the Divines armor so much but wanted to have a different helmet. Thus the helmet was born, but I never released to it to the general public. I?ve had some screenshots showing the helmet and several people have requested a release for it. So here it is. It is located in The Best Defense for sale by Varnado for a hefty price. It has Daedric helmet quality and some nice enchantments to it that match the updated version of LPotD.

Authorship is really a team effort here. My idea, and I did some of the work, but a huge majority of it is done with other's work. See credits for more.

***1-16-12: I've uploaded a new version of the helmet that features 3 wings based on the corrected mesh by Hanaisse. Check the screenshots to see details.

**1-12-12: There is a new version of the mesh uploaded for the mod in which the slight displacement of the wings is corrected. Thanks to Hanaisse for taking the time to do this!

Installation:
Just place the files in the Data directory where Oblivion is located and merge with the existing folders. After placing the files, simply activate the esp by the usual means. For the updated meshes, navigate to your Data file, Meshes, Armor, and then HWHelmet and replace the mesh with the new one.

Uninstalling:
Delete the data from the HWHelm mesh and texture files and the HWHelm.esp.

Bugs:
If viewed in nifscope, the nif will show the wings on the helmet off balanced and it looks really strange. Unfortunately, this was necessary to get the right look while in the game. **There is also a slightly wing displacement in the game if scrutinized closely.
**This has been corrected with a different mesh if it bothers you too much.

Credits:
Credit really belongs to several individuals rather than myself. I only had the idea, altered the texture, placed the enchantments, and made the esp.

-To Sarac for his original work from Black Warrior Armory.
-To Hammerhorde for the alteration and wing placement from Blender.
-To Alexander Wolf for the wings.
-To Jerros and LHammonds for Lost Paladins of the Divines and its associated textures.
-To Hanaisse for her version of the corrected wing placement.
-To Tyreil829 for the Unofficial Patch to LPotD, which I based the enchantments on.
-To God, for being the Ultimate Modder
