Its called debating. If you make a statement be prepared to back it up. I hope people eventually move on to find a good way to play the game for them.

i wasn't aware he was a moderator

He meant that there is a moderator team that monitors every post and that they will act if needed.

no he isn't, btw, Wraith doesn't look for arguments, he just get's annoyed by people who keep the same ideas after he explained(a lot) about why that idea is wrong
at least that's what i think

Wraith is right btw, and he's one of the light's that knows lights aren't overpowered, and hope's they'll be hard to master
wich is why he has earned my respect, and should have yours aswell

if lights seem to be over-present, it's simply because kids want to go everywhere and climb up everything.
it's a hype, and hype's tend to subside.
let them get killed by a few bullets a few dozen times, and they'll go look for different bodytypes

I think Medium will be the most common weight in actual gameplay.

not too fragile, can still interact with the majority of the environment, & access to FPS staple weapons AR's and shotties

it's less "exciting" so ppl aren't thinking of it now... but i bet it's the standard in matches

You think correctly sir. While I appreciate your respect, I think it is something earned not demanded. I have different views then some people and I might just be a bit more vocal about them.

Its interesting to note that Brink starts you playing as medium and you can unlock either heavy or light a bit into the game. Which is nice since everyone starts on the same page.

PS I am not a mod, or have I ever made the claim to be one. Funny this isn't the first time it has come up, but that's a story for another time. Prolly never.

I think that lights will be far less common when people figure out you need a bit of skill to play it right, along with heavy. People might shift towards other builds once they figure out light build is not god build.

I really am tired of the Light God theory. The game point blank says look less hp, weaker weapons, less pips, but you are fast and agile. Doesn't equal god, still people live by their misconceptions so I understand why it keeps popping up.

Not necessarily weaker weapons, but less of a variety.

Everything else though is true.

I'm pretty sure it will depend on the maps you play and the different situations there.

If I got it right you can choose your body type before the match, don't you?
So there will be maps where more players have to be lights to earn certain advantages for the whole team and other maps where more have to be heavies to deal with certain situations.

However I agree that most likely the medium body type will be most common, because balanced settings are, or should be, allways the backbone of a good team.

Then again there will allways be ppl (even pro gamers) that don't giva a ... about the team, and play lights because they can earn first kills, dogtags, or what not with em, but we'll see.
In the end it heavily depends on how the body types are exactly executed and what situational advantages they have.

(Coolness factor of heavy and light should be the same, from what I've seen and heard by now.)

One of my characters is definitely going to be a Heavy medic, I like the idea of healing on the front lines to help people push, or rushing into the fray to heal and revive.

But my first character is going to be light, I'm interested in testing out the limits of smart, as well as getting an idea of what to look out for, because avoiding getting shot or stabbed in the back by a light may be a very important skill.

Remember that this game is gonna kind of be like tf2, because you can change your classes and after matches you can change your body type (i think they changed that) anyways no ones always gonna be light and no ones always gonna be heavy so you dont have to worry. Personally im gonna ofcourse give them all a go first and see what i like. (most likely light though since i like smaller weapons)

I agree i think since their are 8 players per team a good balance would be 2 heavies, 2 lights, and 4 mediums as the backbone or common good all around players of the team. Diviner is right the lights are given too much respect. Honestly if lights think they will take out a whole team just because they are fast then they are wrong. If a team works together and coordinates their attacks then lights alone wont take them out. Yet we shall see how "powerful" they really are when the game comes out.
