Height-Map Import Issues...

Post » Sat Jan 24, 2015 1:14 pm

I'm trying to make a new Worldspace, and have been following a Tutorial I found online. The problem is, I get so far and hit errors...

The initial tutorial I was looking at used a 4096x4096 image and TesAnnwyn, but the instructions provided just produced nothing at all (all I got was like a help-script come up in the Command Prompt); dragging and dropping my heightmap onto the .exe just produces a worldspace-less .esp file; and trying to import just crashes the CK (even if I reduce the size of the file to only 1024X1024 as the CK requests).

Does anyone have a link to a working/up-to-date tutorial for a 4096x4096 image, and converting it into a working Worldspace?

Are you referring http://www.darkcreations.org/hoddminir/from-heightmap-to-worldspace-in-skyrim (on Hoddminir's site) when you say you've been following a tutorial? I was able to successfully generate worldspaces in the past by following that tutorial.

Nope, but that has helped big-time :D I finally got an output, yay!

(Now the only problem is my Heightmap is apparently awful, haha... I was using the old base-image, though, so... understandable... Now I know it works, I can try 'properly :D)

Thanks :D
