Height of the Mountains

Post » Mon Sep 26, 2011 9:39 am

While we've seen the Throat of the World, and we know it's massive, do you guys think it will be the highest we've ever been up in an Elder Scrolls? Dive Rock was really high up, way above sea level, as was most of most of the outer rim due to Cyrodiil apparently being shaped like a bowl. I think that High Hrothgar will be the tallest yet, and I hope the rest of Skyrim's mountains can compete too.

Well, there's no skooma in this game, is there? So I doubt the highest we will be in TES will come in Skyrim.

I think the highest we have been in a Elder Scrolls game was during the quest for the fighters guild in Oblivion that required drinking some Skooma

Actually, Red Mountain should be higher than High Hrothgar (Throat of the World), however it was really lame in Morrowind. I am sure in comparison the Throat of the World in TES V is larger than the Red Mountain in TES III, even though it shouldn't be.

Remember Daggerfall map size??
huuuuuuuuuuuugeeeee....
But it's not that big, according to those Tamriel maps...

I mean, it should've been about the same size as Oblivion... But it's much, much bigger...

There's that one add-on (KoTN?) quest in Oblivion where you're talking to a ghost above the Imperial City. Might be higher, can't remember that well.

?

Why wouldn't there be? Because the rating doesn't say anything about drug use? Neither did MW or OB iirc. Skooma will be in Skyrim..
