Ok, I have been using landscape editing in the render window to raise or lower lands by hand as i see fit. I have also been using the heightmap editor window to raise or lower larger amounts of land without needing to be in the render window at the time. Both these methods are time consuming and can be kinda tricky. I have noticed other features in the heightmap editor window that appear to be meant to auto generate landmasses and its features. I do not really understand how to use the buttons of this feature of the heightmap editor window. I have looked at the cs previously but still did not understand the way in which this feature works. Can someone point me to a decent video tutorial online or maybe try and explain it a bit more in depth as simply as possible? I tend to do a lot better learning face to face where i can SEE what someone is explaining as it happens.
