helllllp! distant lod wont work

ok in the constrcution set, i created a height map and saved my esp
so i went into the heightmap editor to generate my full distant lod but in game it does not aappear
does anyoe know why? its frustrating me and its for my college project

tes4 lodgen only generates missing lod textures and enables vwd objects, it has nothing to do with my lod lol, mine is land lod suhc as mountaines etc and i cant get them to show but i have tried tes4lodgen it doesnt work
