(I'm only interested in the Brink PC version)
I've read the reviews, I've seen enough YouTube videos.
But maybe I could get a more honest opinion here because the reviews are really, well.. Some say this, some say that. Some doesn't mention this and that, what do I know.
I'm enjoying the fact that this is a team based game, +1 point there.
I'm enjoying the fact that it has such great deep character customization, 1+.
But I do read alot of comments about latency issiues, problems and problems. But one unique thing about the Internet is that there is alot of [censored]ing and whining about things then put out of proportions.
But hey, maybe Brink is a awful game that I should run away from?!
You tell me, I just want some personal comments here from you guys that already have the game.
If you love team objective based games and don't care about personal Kill/Death Ratio statistics, then you will probably like this game. Brinks structure is all about team and if you are the lone-wolf type you won't last long and it will be a frustrating experience for you. There have been lag issues, but honestly, most games in their first couple weeks of release have these issues. People are just so impatient, which is where most of the complaining comes from.
Just a warning. If you are hoping for a deep single player storyline and engaging plot, then this game isn't for you. There really isn't much going on with the story or plot, which I don't really care about. This game is all about MP and everything you do in single player carries over to your multiplayer character which is awesome. It made me want to play the campaign knowing that I wasn't missing out on any valuable experience in Multiplayer.
So if you like team objective based multiplayer you'll love this. If you like rich single player campaigns or love deathmatch style multiplayer then you might be disappointed.
If you decide to buy it, would love to see you do a follow up post with your opinion.
