Just a greeting as I am new to the gamesas boards here

I'm very glad there is a fanfic section here as I have been in the process of writing a TES fanfic for about a year now, off and on, but my goal was to complete it and post it before Skyrim dropped so as to heighten people's excitement for the new title (as if that were necessary) or at least to help them get over a couple hours of the waiting

So here we are, the last week of October, and I'm making steady progress--the story is looking good, not sure where it is exactly in terms of completion but currently it is at 28 single spaced pages and could easily be doubled, although I will try to refrain from copious detail (think I've done a pretty good job at streamlining already but you all are the final judge)--probably looking at 45-50 pages total or thereabouts--we'll see how much I have to cut as Nov 11th approaches since that is the final arbiter (the life of a procrastinator, sigh)

I plan to dual-post here and on the TES Nexus forums when it is complete

Bit of a teaser...I am obsessed with the idea of Akavir, as my Nexus compatriots can attest--so I decided to write a story involving what might happen should a military confrontation with Akavir arise for Tamriel--story is character-driven with a good bit of humor and tight action sequences

...plus one scientific discovery which has the potential to radically alter the known world (some of you will like this feature and many won't but hey, once I thought of it, it had to be done! :tes: :read: )
