Help in anolising mod

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 9:14 pm

Tried leaving message to mod maker, but to no avail.

HGEC MORE REVEALING STANTARD ARMOR are a winner, and AQUAMAN made something similar to the worn versions from OOO.

http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30623

As I'm less than nothing in modding... Can someone look if there are something wrong with it? if the meshes/textures/paths are correct?

the bug: it don't make to me what it promised... it shows topless npc/player character. Can't post a pic because... you know.

Already tried tagging it with "graphics" in Wrye Bash, not worked.

If it's bugged, a fix - or if it's a guide for me to fix - would be great. If it's right... but the original MORE REVEALING mod works, all the EVE works... why it don't?

PS: the nexus sites don't return it in a search of key words... don't know the motive. Learned the link in the comments of the original MORE REVEALING mod.

tnx in advance

Sounds fairly messy too. :P

EDIT: Never mind.

Are you sure it's bugged and not buggered? :D

:banghead:
Should I start editing to be taken seriouly?
The title can't be edited... so will keep waiting for a good samaritan. Or maybe just forget everything... and abandon the mod.

I have no interest or knowledge of body mods, so i can't help you.
But you can ask a moderator to change the title.

Texture paths are screwed up in the NIF file: c:\installs\oblivion\data\textures\armor\wornmithril\f\cuirass.dds

Same error is repeated in some of the other nifs as well.

You can edit the nif to fix it. Just remove everything in front of "textures" for each instance and resave.

Also, I think someone may have made a means of automatically fixing that, but it might be PYffi, which I'm not sure is good for armor yet.

Thanks Showler, still had to learn where the texture path was hidden, but already managed to find and change it. Now it works...

And again... really thanks.

I vaguely recall seeing an option in TES4Files which might have related to correcting texture paths in NIFs...

TES4Files does, but I thought that that functionality was integrated into repacking BSAs and not a general function.

TES4FILES comes with an option to copy the subdirectories (Meshes, Textures, Sounds) as well. So you can choose wether to use a BSA or loose files.
