I just finished Ironbind Barrow and came out the other end , up high on a mountain. A slight wander about and I found 3 Dawarven Pillars the middle one had potion bottles on top of it , how your supposed to get at them ?

But that's not the point, at least 22 dragons killed and souls got from everyone of them, but not from that dragon at these pillars. It attacked and I killed it but no soul ? first time (1.3) again not that bothered just now but usually when you find a place like that, it comes up with the name of the place you found and puts it on the map but not this time.

Just wondering if anyone else has done the Ironbind Barrow and found these 3 pillers when they came out the other end of the barrow and if so , did its name come up. Usually get a name of the place when there are a couple of chests there and potion bottles.


Just wondering if it a fault or its just a place with no name.

I've not been there yet, but there are a few places where there are items placed where it seems impossible to reach them.

I've probably been there (I think I've been everywhere, but I can't find an exact count online), but this does not sound familiar. I'll try and take a look when I get home tonight, assuming nobody has answered this yet.

Initial suggestion would be to see if you can position yourself and use the Sprint Shout, but I'd have to see they terrain and layout.

Did you try knocking them off with a range spell?

Try shooting the potions down with either your Force shout or an arrow. I've had a dragon not give me a soul once as well, don't know if it was there or not, can't remember.

You are supposed to use the "Whirlwind Sprint" shout, but there are other ways. If you can see them you can use telekinesis as well.

Hit one with an arrow and sent it miles , went flying off the mountain. Was not worried about the potions or weapons, just if the Place was supposed to have a name and a the placed marked on the map when you find it.

Usual with stuff like chests and a weapon laying at the foot fo the middle pillar, shire maybe I just thought it would be a named place but no name came up when I found it.

I found this place yesterday and what's weird is that the dragon didn't give me a soul either.

Yeah, climb up the mountain behind the pillar and L1 Whirlwind Shout over to it. Make sure you are slightly above the top of the pillar and you should land right on top of it.
