right ive killed the count of bravil and hes needed in the mq for the aid for bruma im on xbox btw

Aid for Bruma is an optional quest. You don't have to do it. Just, the more folks you have when you actually do the Bruma gates, the higher likelyhood of keeping the 'main' characters alive. (Jauffre, etc.)

Yes, it will work.
I don't think there is any possible solution for Bravil, and you'll just have to go without.
