So as the title states I'm going to get a gaming pc soon...however I know next to nothing about them, so any help would be greatly appreciated I'm looking to spend around 1500-1700 so what do you guys think like I said from the ground up I'd love to hear your input

Oh man. With a 1500 budget you can build a great machine.

• Z170 motherboard LGA 1151
• i5-6600K
• 16 gig DDR4 2133
• GTX 980Ti or to save money for a better monitor get a GTX 970.
• 250 or 500GB SSD game/OS drive
• Antec 900 or Rosewill Challenger or Cooler Master 912...
• Any decent rated HDD of sufficient size for your storage needs
• If you get the 970 rather than the 980 you should have enough left over to get a decent sized IPS or TN monitor
