Help! cry-Adam/cry-Tom ?...maximum nanosuit isn't working

I assume this has something to do with patch 1.8 but Ive got fully leveled loadout pro(the increased mobility with HMG) and whenever I rip it off the mount, instead of ripping it off fast, i rip it off slow and once im done I cant move at all. not even 1 step. I also assume that this is going to be fixed because......well its a bug.
also, if I dont have loadout pro, like if Ive got mobility or aim enhance, I can rip it off and move, just slowly. so its just if someone has loadout pro the glitch happens

Now that max nanosuit glitch.
I had one and activated it. The music started but instantly the the sound played that comes when the max nanosuit is over(the low-key swish) and the edges of my screen didnt have the "armor effect" on it. My energy was draining again and I was not any stronger. I dont mind the nerfed max nanosuit but one that lasts only 1 second is nerfing it a bit to much(sarcasm).
I hope this is fixed soon.

Maybe ill record some video footage and show it if the problem persists when I get into the game again.

Also, tell me if I posted this in the wrong section because I did not find a "bugs/glitchs" section in the forums :)

Did this just happen today? I believe they did some seriously wrong sh*t with this live update they did today.

Now the shotgun and gauss attachment has 0 ammo all the time even when you respawn so they are useless, max nanosuits can use stealth, and dog tag streaks names are just squares. Thanks Crytek. WTF DID YOU DO?

Yes saw the maximum suit glitch happen it lasted for a split second ... Sure the nerf on the suit was needed although not sure of this much lol

After I installed patch 1.8 every time I press 'p' to activate maximum armor It doesn't do nothing. The nanosuit voice says it is activated but it isn't (It already happened 30~ times).

-It happens with all the classes (my retriever/armor enhance class, airstomp/mobility enhance class, ...).
-After I press the 'p' button my energy is drained like if it wasn't activated (...and it isn't).
-I have tried pressing 'p' in armor, stealth and power...without energy, with it full...it makes no difference.


20 seconds for the end of a match in central station I was out of energy and then I have pressed 'p',cause an enemy was near, but before the nanosuit voice comes up the guy killed me.
I think the delay between me and him caused the bug. Like if I have activated it after I died, I doesn't know.

It's not just you, I have gotten this three times (I now joke that 7 kills gives you epic background music) and I have had two other friends who have had it happen to them too, it happens every time right now. It is currently completely broken, it just says it activates, gives you a couple hundred points, and then plays the background music.

Nanosuit 2.0 used to be an extremely fun and extremely useful reward for getting a killstreak of 7. A good player used to be able to change the tide of a match by tactically it to capture a relay or secure a crash site.

After patch 1.8, nanosuit 2.0 has become worthless. You now die to 3 melee hits, <10 bullets or by being anywhere near an exploding grenade. If you try to capture a relay or clear an enemy crashsite with more than one person in it, you die instantly. What is the point of this perk now? It has no tactical use whatsoever and is no longer any fun.

It is incredibly frustrating to see this happen, as nanosuit 2.0 used to be the most exciting and enjoyable killstreak reward out of all of them. Please comment here if you think nanosuit 2.0 should be returned to full strength in the next patch.

I think that they should first make it so it actually works, currently it just serves as a nice notification with some good fragging music. The energy does not work at all and it allows you to change to stealth mode.

Now on to the topic of the actual balance change. Yes, it is a little too weak right now, but it was too strong before. They should move armor multiplier to 1.65 or 1.7 from 1.5.

I wish I could even use it...Live update killed 2 of them. They turn on for 1-3 seconds and then gone.

I tried activating max nanosuit as well for at least 10 times, and it failed every single time. Definite bug. CTF sadness =[

Also, is it just me or does anyone notice that nanosuit jammer has a visual bug too? Instead of waves emanating from the jammer all i see is a solid white sphere around it now, and its now pretty much impossible to see through or around it because its opaque instead of being transparent

Some of the weapon attachments don't work now since the CTR update, the Gauss and others, some other problems have been posted about too.

Yup he's right, the jammer and max nano bugs appeared immediately after the hotfix and werent around when patch 1.8 hit.

I thought it looked awesome, they should leave that alone, some of the best graphics in the game IMO.

o_O giant snowball of energy draining, just like the ceph freezing field in crysis 1 campaign

I guess you now could hide inside of the bubble to recharge your energy in broad daylight, and the enemy team wouldnt be able to see you.

Jokes aside, i'd rather have the jammer's animation become a static bubble showing its area denial effect instead of those waves coming out of it, which i find rather annoying

No, no, you don't get this right. Maximum Nansuit is still working. But, according to Crytek's older balance changes, it's just been nerfed. With the next patch they will probably nerf the maximum radar, so that it's only working with a radius of about 10 metres around the player....

Please note that I'm just joking. No, the better descritpion would be: "Rage of a defensive player who will lose half of his XP in the future because of some **** changes in CTR"....I thank god for me being unable to play yesterday. Now I'm at least mentally prepared for what I'm facing when I'm playing today....

it is total BS now, if u r surrounded by 3 guys u r dead, and cooldudsubho u got killed with 2 shots from Scar because it didnt work in the first place :D and u got shot while u r running with no armor.
and for the jammer i thought it was a grfx change applied from te server admins when i first saw it on fragnetics server yesterday : )

Are you sure? I can still activate max nano and the music plays and the voice on the radio makes the announcement, but the suit simply does not power up. I am still able to stealth, my energy is still limited, movement speed stays the same etc. ie max nano deactivates a split second after you push the button, as if it never happened.

We play on the same servers so its strange that you say its working for you. If you can, try to double check again when you use max nano.

And i also think that the nerf was excessive. Now it seems only slightly more powerful than that deflection buff you get when you die too many times in a row. Thats weak for a 7 kill streak.
